The Great Gatsby（了不起的蓋茨比）
看完電影，就覺得，繁華落盡，而所有的夢想和希望都像是在一瞬間裡，沒有留下信號地消失殆盡，不管之前是多麼的美好。
Jay Gatsby，執著地追求過去，拼命地伸開雙臂想要碰觸到對岸的綠光，耗盡所有思緒把苦澀的現實變成樂觀的憧憬，卻忘記了，過去了的事情，只能遙望，只能回首。就像嫁了人的Daisy Buchanans，再也不可能變回那個與他相愛的Daisy Fay。
他一直執著地追著，終於追到了，與Daisy似乎重回當初的甜蜜。可是，他也忘記了，再奢華的舞會也會變得荒涼，再喧鬧的人群也會變得寂靜，再昂貴的衣飾也會變得殘舊。所以，同樣的，再深刻的愛情，在漫漫的歲月裡，在Tom Buchanans的陪伴中，也會變得淺淡。
最後的最後，他不過等來一個意料之外但情理之中的結局。只是這個結局，包含了太多太多，Gatsby的天真，Tom和Daisy的無情，還有Nick Carraway的絕望。

我很喜歡結尾Nick說的那段話：
"... as I sat there brooding on the old, unknown world, I thought of Gatsby's wonder when he first picked out the green light at the end of Daisy's dock. He had come a long way to this blue lawn, and his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it.
"He did not know that it was already behind him, somewhere back in that vast obscurity beyond the city, where the dark fields of the republic rolled on under the night.
"Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter – tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further … And one fine morning –
"So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
